Schedule basis:
Moonlit Hearts Tourneys are played every Tues, Thurs and Sat. Every other week we will play a Sunday game. Some games may be scheduled differently because of my own schedule, problems, conflicts with other tourneys, etc...
Addition Rules:
These are rules that I have made up and you necessarily do not need to see. These are not really rules but rewordings, suggestions and some procedures. The first one is the only one you need to look at.
1)Although I may get enough people to hold 3 tourneys, I "may" hold 3 tourneys. It is not stated that I must hold as many tourneys as I have enough people. I may hold as many as I feel like that night.
2)Please respect the tourney host, ALL tourney hosts. If you only knew how big of a headache we all get...and we do this all for you. No one on mplayer gets paid to hold tourneys.
3)The rule about booting is VERY IMPORTANT. If someone gets booted, slow down. Getting booted could alter the points drastically. The winner may be decided because a bot played very good or very bad. If the bootee is not back within 5 mins, page me saying who got booted out of what room. If I find out that the person has logged off mplayer, there is no option but to sub this person.
4)My decisions at the tourney are the highest and may not be overruled, unless they are overruled by Wizard-Drake or by higher powers. I may take your suggestion in, but my decision is final.
RULES
-Leave absolutely all settings at default. This means that all games will be played to 100 points.
-Launch whenever all the four players that I have listed are in your room. PLEASE MAKE SURE THESE ARE THE EXACT PEOPLE THAT I LISTED.
-First person listed before each room will RECORD THE FINAL and will also create the room as I list it.
-If a player is not there, first page him/her, next look in the lobby for him/her and if all else fails page me after I have assigned all the rooms.
-If anything goes wrong. Page me, and be quick with the paging. I will then go to your game and join to talk with you. Please page 1gustavo. If I never go to your roomthat means that your server is probably maxed outor you ejected me
-Please do not say anything that will foretell the future. Therefore saying "tram" would let others know that you will take the rest of the cards. Saying things such as "duck" will also foretell what is coming up.
-If you intentionally leave a tourney game before the final card is played, you will forfeit all you points from that tourney and you will also forfeit any chance to play in any more tourneys that month.
-Do not restart any tourney game unless I have allowed you to. The only instance is if no one pressed the pass button and it would be impossible to play a game or something like that
-check www.geocities.com/Broadway/6791/frames.html or members.tripod.com/~gus_hearts or the calendar on drakes page for a link to get to the results page.
-All and any decisions are made final by the tourney host.
BOOTS
-If a player is booted, wait 5 minutes. If that person is still gone, page me and I will find a sub. If both the sub and the bootee are online, first one to get to the room gets the spot. So be quick, if you get booted.
-In case you get booted, you might want to record the scores if theyre over eighty. If other players also got booted, those scores you give me might be the final score or you will continue the game while adding to these scores.
POINTS SYSTEM
- If at the final of tonights tourney, a finalist does not show, the substitute will be the second placer to that finalist, no other substitute will be accepted. The original finalist gets 2 pts, the substitute gets 1 pt plus any more he/she gets.
-You will receive 2 points for winning round 1 and advancing to the finals towards the leaderboard.
The winner of the finals will get 2 more points.
-If there is a tie then page me, I will then tell you the rules for a tiebreak and then you will play a tiebreak.
-I will create the room for the finals.
